You can explore all sorts of train cars, from a locomotive built in 1949, to a parlor car from 1947, to a bay window caboose built in 1979. You can even learn about the history of trains in Texas. Make sure you go on a Saturday, though, because that is the only day of a week that the Houston Railroad Museum is open.
