Quad-Copters are four rotor radio controlled flying vehicles, that have recently gained popularity and are poised to be used in a number of commercial applications in the near future. Amazon is preparing to deliver packages with quads. Ranchers and farmers will be using them for finding their cattle or monitoring their crops. Realtors and movie makers are using them for interesting pictures and clips. This two-week, half-day camp is an introduction to Quad-Copters, how they work, and how they can be used. Campers will learn how to safely fly quad-copters, and maneuver them through a series of mazes. They will also be able to take home the quad copter that they use during the camp. Campers will learn about the physics of flight, and the technology behind these small but powerful tools.
