Do you want to be a pilot when you grow up? If so, what better place to visit than the United States Air Force Academy? At this military owned university, you can tour parts of the campus, watch a video about the life of a cadet, and, if you’re lucky, even see the cadets in action!

Do you like dinosaurs? Do you want to see where the first stegosaurus was found? If so, then the Dinosaur Ridge Trail is the place for you! At this Natural National Monument, you can learn about all different kinds of dinosaur bones. In fact, it is one of the few places in the world where you can see dinosaur bones still in the rocks where they became fossils.

Do you like fossils? If so, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is the place for you! This national park has some of the largest fossilezed tree remains in the world, and thousands of fossils of different kinds of plants and insects. You could even become a member of the Junior Paleontologist Program!

Do you like airplanes? At the Persoan Air and Space Museum, you can see all sorts of airplanes, rockets, and missiles, and learn about the history of flight. Since this museum is located on the Peterson Air Force Base, you can also learn all about air defense in North America.

If you like dinosaurs, the Morrison Natural History Museum is the place to be. Not only does this museum have oldest stegosaurus ever found on display, it also lets you touch many of the fossils that you see! Since the museum continues to learn about the Jurassic period, they make new discoveries every day.

Do you like to look at the stars? If you do, then you should visit the Fiske Planetarium and Science Center! This planetarium has daily shows that teach you everything from the stories behind the constellations to the reason behind falling stars. If you’re lucky, you might even get to meet an astronaut!
